Excel Healthcare Ltd offers a comprehensive service plan to ensure that your steam steriliser continues to be reliable and safe.

The service plan consists of two service visits per year from an engineer where a routine service schedule is carried out together with a pressure vessel examination. Regular servicing enables the engineer to rectify any minor problems that may develop into a malfunction of the steriliser thereby preventing costly and unnecessary down time. During the service a series of calibration tests are also undertaken. Validation and written scheme of examination certificates are issued to verify effective sterilisation and pressure vessel worthiness.

Regular servicing and calibration of all steam sterilisers is now recognised as an essential requirement and should be carried out at regular intervals during the course of a year for your steriliser. It is also a legal requirement that a current written scheme of examination must be issued under the pressure vessel regulations.

As a manufacturer we recommend the servicing schedule is carried out at six monthly intervals and the pressure vessel examination is carried out yearly. You should highly consider a routine servicing structure if your steriliser is one or more years old.

In the unlikely event of any fault occurring between the six monthly visits the fault will be rectified without any additional costs. All parts and labour for the one year period of the contract are included in your annual payment.

For an annual payment of £460.00 plus VAT your practice will comply with current legislation requirements regarding regular maintenance and calibration of steam sterilisers together with pressure vessel regulations.
